“MySpace has the world’s largest database of live events, and iLike has already built some of the world’s best concert-discovery features available online,” Courtney Holt, president of MySpace Music, wrote in a blog post. “We’re delighted to have implemented the first structured integration of concert data into Google search, and this is only the beginning of our efforts to innovate in the live event space.”

There are other options for music, of course. Popular sites like Pandora and Last.fm offer streaming music stations for listening through any device that can play music from the internet, including a wide array of PCs, handheld devices and some set top boxes and appliances.
What’s convenient about Google Music search is the ability to search across many of these services with more options and specific filters, like artist, title and lyrics, to help you find just what your looking for faster.
Another convenience of Google Music search is that the search results page allows you to hear a sample of the song, to determine if it’s really the one you were searching for, or even follow a link to purchase the song, or video, from participating providers.
When it comes to listening to internet music on your PC, handheld or other device, you can look to Google to provide you with a comprehensive interface, so, if you wanted, you wouldn’t have to look any further to find just what you want, anytime, and easier and faster than ever before.
