Social media networking sites have been pretty famous since the start of the technology era. And, one of the earliest networking sites is MySpace. Though with the existence of Facebook, Twitter and other famous sites MySpace has ranked low in the list. However, it is said that the networking site still holds a strong root. Moreover, MySpace is said to be struggling and trying its best to stand upto the test of time and competition between the networking sites. But will the decision of making MySpace Music be offered for subscription a good step in the competition?

According the chairman of News Corp, Rupert Murdoch, he will have the users to pay for the usage of MySpace Music and this will be expected to launch before the current year ends. The site need fund since the revenue is underachieved for the past years. News Corp is a parent company of MySpace which manages the MySpace Music along with other four companies.
Another company who has gone doubtful about the music services offered through ads is the Warner Music Group. Subscription seems to be the best move in verifying the music services and their tools together with the services.
Though it is true that MySpace is currently searching for new opportunities which would help the company in the finance aspect, the site does not plan to take away services such as that of the free streaming music. This is according to Courtney Holt who is responsible for the music division of MySpace.
SpiralFrog and Ruckus have done the said strategy but instead of improving their monetary issues, the site either disappeared or been bought out instead. People are wondering if MySpace will be able to pull this out. This seems to be a frustrated response on the fall of the site from the competition with the infamous Facebook. Hoping to improve more, will MySpace pull this trick out?
