Youtube is the first choice of all people especially when it comes to searching videos. Youtube offers varieties of videos, be them the simple music videos, movies, or series that you are interested of watching. This is the best quality that Youtube could offer. It has many diverse niches of videos.

Aside from the videos that can be watched, videos can also be shared. With the sharing of videos, the site becomes an avenue for video watching. With the sharing, more and more videos are being posted in the current time. Aside from this, comments can also be posted for these videos hosted on the website. A video can be commented based on whether a watcher liked it or disliked it. This seems to be like a freedom wall for everyone. However, this also seems to be the reason for the hacking of Youtube recently.

Youtube was hacked by inserting codes through the comments section of the site. The code was inserted to the different videos which featured Justin Bieber, a famous teen pop artist in today’s time. The videos of Justin Bieber topped the charts and ratings from watchers. Since his videos have the most number of views, these were the videos which the hackers targeted.

What does the code do? Though it has nothing to do with malware, the codes will actually redirect users and viewers from the page of a specific video to some adult sites. However, Google was able to turn off the code successfully.

And after discovering the activities done by the hackers, Google temporarily closed the ability of the viewers to comment on videos. Though after two hours, the said famous company was able to bring back the commenting features.

Currently, Google is being cautious with Youtube. It has been studying and researching on the possible problems and troubles that might occur with the said site because as the cliché goes, prevention is way better than cure. Thus, preventing the possible problems is way better solving the problem.
