The problem of WordPress in connection to the surfacing of black pages has been a big thorn in the sides of not only users and surfers but also administrators the same. Also called the White Screen of Death, this is the event whereby only a blank page can be seem as visible by viewers of the page. No redirecting, no explanations and no nothing.

WordPress administrators are trying to explain themselves that they are not the only one putting and creating codes for the WordPress, other users also provide codes because of the “extended” aspect of it. But there are no exact and real proofs on the real cause of the white screen of death.

The WordPress offers its users the ability to activate their own blogs. In addition to this, profiles, themes and backgrounds can also be customized. Other application may also exist but these applications are not constructed by WordPress administrators. They are produced by the users themselves and are contributed to make WordPress more interesting.

Bloggers have testified that the problems may really have been rooted to the PHP-based codes that WordPress is using. HTML and CSS are even better in a sense that PHP seems to be a fail or pass subject in the coding industry. With one simple typo error, the whole site crashes down. Other factors that may be considered for these blank pages are lack in virtual memory, plug-in problems and a mess in the configuration codes.

With these problems, WordPress has been developing some ways to solve them. Investigations on plug-in errors and creation on the development of solution to minimize these problems are given focused to by the WordPress developers. Moreover, what the people should now wait for is the creation and release of the WordPress version 3.0 which sees to it that problems such as the white screen of death are minimized if not completely obliterated.
