The new Skype 5.0 beta version is finally here! This Thursday, Skype came up with its new 5.0 beta version for Windows which is now made available on the web as a free online download. The newly launched version includes several surprising features for conference calling, something that most people have been looking forward to. The new launch will now allow you to enjoy low-cost sessions, meetings and video calls with friends, families and business associates.

Unlike the genuine Skype version that allowed you to initiate video calls with just one another recipient, the new released version allows you to host live video chats with as many as five different people. Although, it has one specific requirement! For enjoying the long video chats, you most primarily require a Web Cam along with the newly installed Skype 5.0 beta version into your Windows PC. This requirement can act as a problem for several testers. Apart from this release, it is also believed that Skype will also release a set of new calling plans for all people using it on their mobile phones. The executives representing Skype stated that although they didn’t find the time to release new overseas conference calling plans until now, they are working up for these plans. According to them, these new mobile Skype plans will soon be launched in the near future.

In this competitive business market, Skype is not the first firm to bring up this facility of video conferencing to all its users. However, it is surely better than the other offers available in the market. VoxOx, a lead competitor of Free Skye also offers video conferencing to its users, but only with about three callers. On the contrary, ooVoo another freemium conference calling system provider provides its users conferencing with about six people. IT Support
